Adding and Deleting Organisational Units

Click Admin in the navigation bar at the top of the screen and select Organisations from the drop down menu

Select Organisations form dropdown

The organisation list will open and you will be able to view the organisation(s) that you have administrative rights over

Click on the organisation name to open the Organisation page

Click on the organisation name

Adding Organisational Units

Follow the steps above to open the organisation screen and select the organisation that you wish to add a new Organisational Unit to

Select the parent organisation’s name in the list and then click Add

Edit the new Organisational Unit information by entering information in the appropriate text boxes

When all editing is complete:

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page

Click save changes

The following message will be displayed:

Additional Information:

  • An administrator of an Organisation Unit can carry out administrative functions within the Organisation Unit they have administrative rights over based on the roles and permissions granted to them.
  • Refer to Adding Administration Roles for information on how to grant administrative rights over an Organisational Unit

Deleting Organisational Units

Follow the steps from the top of the page to open the organisation screen

An Organisational Unit must be empty to be able to delete it.

If appropriate, click the + and – in the expandable list to the right of the screen to view Organisational Units. Click on the name of the Organisational Unit that you wish to delete

Click Delete

Click delete

The Organisational Unit that you have selected to delete will turn red. If the wrong Organisational Unit is selected, click cancel at the bottom of the pagewill turn red

To confirm the delete:

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page

The following message will be displayed:
