To ensure the best experience of your current NHSmail account, and to keep your account active, please remember to look after your account responsibly. Here are some reminders to help you:
- keep your password updated and change it every 90 days – this will prevent your account being deleted. Further guidance is available on Self-Service Password Management
- manage your mailbox and regularly delete items – when a mailbox is over quota, you will not be able to receive or send emails. More information is available in the Manage your mailbox quota guide
- inactive account removal – from mid-September, accounts that are not ‘active’ will be removed. Further information is available in the Data Retention and Information Management Policy
