The NHSmail Office 365 Hybrid Service (“The Service”) will deliver an integrated service offering between the current NHSmail Exchange and Skype for Business services and the Office 365 suite.

This document provides an outline of the key features offered by the products and any known limitations. The document has been produced to support health and care organisations make decisions about their IT roadmap and use of the NHSmail Office 365 Hybrid.

Once the organisation has procured Microsoft Office 365 licences for the NHSmail Office 365 Hybrid Service, the Local Administrator can set up different user policies based on a variety of user needs.

The NHSmail Office 365 (O365) Hybrid Service (“The Service”) allows health and care organisations to access Office 365 services using their existing NHSmail identity.

This document is intended to support organisations that already have an O365 tenant but wish to migrate onto the NHSmail O365 Hybrid tenant.

Latest information on the NHSmail service including anti-spoofing, sharing sensitive information, unauthenticated Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) to be disabled, improving joiner/leaver workflows, all user satisfaction survey results, Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT), NHSmail Office 365 Hybrid enhancements, Portal release, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing (BCDR) and general service information and reminders.
