Issue Status: CLOSED

Issue Description: Issues with NHSmail Portal and access to email. Users are experiencing issues with accessing the NHSmail Portal and accessing email.

Current Update: 01/12/2018 19:45 – Resolved: The service disruption was the result of a component failure in one of the NHSmail data centres. The root cause is under investigation.

Guidance for Users: 02/12/2018 10:15: Following the known issue resolved yesterday where users were unable to access portal, OWA or emails in Outlook, please follow the below steps if you are still facing any issues in acessing portal, OWA or emails in Outlook:

  • if you have reset your password, please update the new password in all your devices or your account may get locked again.
  • if you can access portal/OWA via one browser and not another then this is likely a browser cache issue. Please follow the guidance on how to clear cookies and cached data from your browser.
